The Yarmouth Port Library was founded as a subscription library in 1866 by a group of Yarmouth’s most prominent citizens. To this day, the library continues as a privately funded library but is open to the public at no charge and is part of the Cape and Islands Clams network. On Oct 2, I am walking in the Brighton Walk to End Alzheimer's. I walk in memory of my dad and aunt who both suffered from a dementia disorder. I raise money to help fund research. advocacy and caregiver resources. I don't want other families to go through what we did with my dad.
