How do I check the current status of my order and track my shipment?
You can check on the current status of your order by going to the Order Status page. To get the details of your order, you'll need your CUSTOMER NUMBER, your LAST NAME and your ZIP CODE (for billing). Your Customer Number can be found on any of our e-mail order confirmations. After you fill in the information, you’ll be taken to a list of all of your Flower Power Fundraising orders. For order details, click on the order you want to see.
FedEx says my tracking number cannot be found in the system. Is my package lost?
Tracking numbers are not “trackable” until they are scanned at the FedEx depot. This can take up to 48 hours from the time it leaves our warehouse. If your package shipped more than 48 hours ago and your FedEx tracking number comes up as “not valid,” give us a call or send an e-mail and we’ll investigate.
Delivery Information & Shipping Charges
We ship by FedEx and FedEx SmartPost exclusively. We do not ship to APO/FPO addresses or to AK, HI, PR, or VI at this time. Shipping dates are based on the season of your order (spring or fall) as well as the weather/climate conditions in your region. In spring, we may delay shipping in colder regions by a few weeks to ensure your plants arrive in good condition. In fall, we will ship to all areas well in advance of the first hard frost to ensure the bulbs and plants have adequate time to set roots.

Delivery Charges
If you are an individual purchasing products through our online program in support of an organization, there is a flat-rate charge of $5.00 per order.
Profit Check Information
Monthly profit checks are sent only after Flower Power has shipped and billed your customers for their order. Shipping for our Spring program begins at the end of March and runs through May. Our Fall Program begins at the end of September and runs through early November. Checks will be mailed by the 10th of each month based on the previous month’s shipments.
Note: We do not charge customers for their orders until they actually ship.

Shopping Basket & Checkout Help
The Shopping Basket shows your order in progress. You can edit the items in your Shopping Basket with the following options:
- Change Quantity. To change the quantity of an item in your basket, click the “Quantity” box once and change the number of items you’d like. Click the Update Quantity button at the bottom of the page to see your new total.
- Remove. To delete an item entirely, click the Remove button at the end of that line item.
- Change. To change any other options on an item, click on the product name/link, and you'll be taken to the product page where you can make changes. Once you've made your changes, click the Add to Shopping Basket button, and you'll be brought back to the Shopping Basket where you'll see that the changes have been made.

International Orders
Do you ship outside the lower 48 states?
No. Many of our products are restricted by customs regulations and shipping requirements. We only ship our products to U.S. addresses within the 48 contiguous states.

If you are an individual purchasing products through our online program in support of an organization we accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover). If you are the Chairperson for an organization and are submitting a consolidated order, we are able to accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover), or you can send us a check in the mail. In order to ship your order payment must be received first. We accept purchase orders from schools only and must have the purchase order in hand prior to placing your order. E-mailing Via your Flower Power Account to your Participant List
As part of Membership Services, Flower Power Account members (Campaign Managers and Participants) may send an e-mail to one or more recipients identified by a valid e-mail address. The message created by a Flower Power Account member will be sent from Flower Power Fundraising on the Flower Power Account member's behalf to the e-mail addresses the Flower Power Account member enters into the online form. These e-mail addresses will be stored in the address book the Flower Power Account member creates and will be used only for the purpose of sending e-mail communications to the addressees. The recipient of an e-mail may contact us via the e-mail communication sent from Flower Power on the Flower Power Account member’s behalf to opt out of future e-mail messages by simply clicking on the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of that e-mail.
Invitations and Other Communications to Non-members
Flower Power Account members can invite friends and family to join the Fundraiser by sending invitation e-mails via our automated invitation system. Flower Power stores the e-mail addresses that members provide so that reminders may be sent via the members "friend" and "participant" lists. Flower Power does not sell these email addresses or use them to send any other communication besides invitations and invitation reminders (up to three (3) per e-mail address). Recipients of invitations from Flower Power Fundraising may opt out of future e-mail messages by simply clicking on the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of that e-mail. Flower Power Account members may also store e-mail addresses of people they know in their internal Flower Power Account address book and may also choose to send invitations and other communications to those addresses.
Accessing and Updating Your Information
For online fundraising campaigns, campaign organizers may access and modify their account information by accessing their account profiles using their user ID and password. Supporters may request any changes by calling our toll-free number at: 1-866-223-8831, or by contacting us via e-mail.

What are Zone Maps?
Gardeners need a way to compare their garden climates with the climate where a plant is known to grow well. That's why climate zone maps were created. Zone maps are tools that show where various permanent landscape plants can adapt. If you want a shrub, perennial, or tree to survive and grow year after year, the plant must tolerate year-round conditions in your area, such as the lowest and highest temperatures and the amount and distribution of rainfall.
The 1990 USDA Hardiness Zone Map
The USDA Hardiness Zone Map is one of several maps developed to provide this critical climate information. The USDA map is the one most gardeners in the eastern United States rely on, and the one most national garden magazines, catalogs, books, and many nurseries currently use. This map divides North America into 11 separate zones. Each zone is 10 degrees fahrenheit warmer (or colder) in an average winter than the adjacent zone. (In some versions of the map, each zone is further divided into "a" and "b" regions.)
Great for the East
The USDA map does a fine job of delineating the garden climates of the eastern half of North America. That area is comparatively flat, so mapping is mostly a matter of drawing lines approximately parallel to the Gulf Coast every 120 miles or so as you move north. The lines tilt northeast as they approach the Eastern Seaboard. They also demarcate the special climates formed by the Great Lakes and by the Appalachian mountain ranges.
Zone Map Drawbacks
But this map has shortcomings. In the eastern half of the country, the USDA map doesn't account for the beneficial effect of a snow cover over perennial plants, the regularity or absence of freeze-thaw cycles, or soil drainage during cold periods. And in the rest of the country (west of the 100th meridian, which runs roughly through the middle of North and South Dakota and down through Texas west of Laredo), the USDA map fails.
Problems in the West
Many factors beside winter lows, such as elevation and precipitation, determine growing climates in the West. Weather comes in from the Pacific Ocean and gradually becomes less marine (humid) and more continental (drier) as it moves over and around mountain ranges. While cities in similar zones in the East can have similar climates and grow similar plants, in the West this varies greatly. For example, the weather and plants in low-elevation, coastal Seattle are much different than in high elevation, inland Tucson, Arizona, even though they're in the same USDA zone 8.
